Hello, I’m Sandy, the founder of Linoy Boutique.

A Parisian at heart who now calls San Diego home. Surrounded by fashion and art growing up, I’ve always been drawn to beauty, design, and experiences that touch the senses. 

My journey began long before I ever poured my first candle. For over 17 years, I worked as an event planner, creating beautiful celebrations and unforgettable experiences. I always believed that the smallest details could make the biggest impact, and I developed a passion for creating moments that bring people together.
 

Everything changed when my mother began struggling with chronic lung disease. Watching her become increasingly sensitive to the chemicals found in everyday products—including many scented candles—opened my eyes to the importance of what we bring into our homes. At the same time, I wanted to create a healthier environment for my own family without sacrificing the beauty and comfort that candles bring.
 

What started as a personal mission quickly became a passion.
 

I dedicated myself to learning the art and science of candle making, carefully selecting clean, high-quality ingredients that I could feel confident burning in my own home. Every candle is handcrafted using natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and thoughtfully chosen fragrance oils, creating a luxurious experience with a cleaner burn.
 

In 2024, after being laid off from my corporate career, I made the decision to turn my passion into my full-time business. It was a leap of faith—but one that allowed me to build a brand rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and purpose.
 

Today, every Linoy Boutique candle is hand-poured in my San Diego studio with the same care and attention to detail that I once brought to every event I planned. Our collections can be found in boutiques and specialty retailers, at local markets, through corporate workshops, and as custom favors for weddings, baby showers, and special celebrations.

The name Linoy Boutique is especially meaningful to me, as it is named after my daughter—a daily reminder that everything I create is inspired by family, love, and the desire to bring warmth into people’s lives.
 

My hope is that every candle does more than simply fill a room with fragrance. I hope it creates a feeling of comfort, peace, and connection—because home should always be a place where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy life’s simple moments.
